First ide like to say that first post that says check the FAQ first doesn't help because I have no idea where the FAQ is and that post doesn't link to it. Fail?
So I just got back into spring again and I am seeing the same bugs again and forgot how I fixed them before, any help would be appreciated.
1. Spring does not output sound to the correct audio device, I reported this in the forum before and a developer responded telling me he added the feature to the settings and that it would be available in the next version of spring, well apparently it never got added because I still don't see it. If i'm missing it could someone point it out to me please.
2. When I zoom all the way out I get horizontal lines in the ground (looks like wireframe on the geometry only, but only horizontal). How do I get rid of it?
3. I run 16:10 ratio dual monitors. I want to use dual monitor mode, which means my res has to be 3840x1200. When ever I try to run the game at this res it says "Could not set video mode: No video mode large enough for 3840x1200". Any single monitor res works fine, even on dual monitor mode. Any help here? NOTE: This res works fine in windowed mode, just not fullscreen.
Thanks ahead of time!

FAQ: http://springrts.com/wiki/FAQ
The "Help" button in the menu at top also links to it. (that sticky thread is outdated & fail)

(notice esp. on the two big mountains) Thats a bug in some older maps. New maps dont have it.

- Open your infolog.txt:
- near the top there is a list of all available sound devices
- Open your springsettings.cfg:
- add snd_device with your wanted sound device (the name from your infolog)
Again open your infolog.txt, near the top all by your gfx drivers supported resolutions are listed.Grimshad wrote:3. I run 16:10 ratio dual monitors. Re: Anyone know how to fix these things?
Thanks, I hope a sound device selection is added to the spring settings gui soon.jK wrote:Grimshad wrote:1.
