Christchurch - New Zealand Earthquakes

Just been looking through some of the camera footage of this stuff, it's pretty devastating but it's amazing how all these things can be caught on camera and shown to the world in a matter of hours, if not minutes. Just by anybody, not just media networks.

Anybody from Spring live near there?

Yea I live a few hours south of there. Felt the earthquakes and thought, there goes Christchurch again.

From Dunedin, didn't feel anything but apparently others did.
News companies have jizzed themselves and reported nothing else since.

Yea I'm in Dunedin. Felt 3 separate quakes but they were quite faint. I mainly noticed because the walls were moving and things were swaying.

Auckland (about 1000km north of Christchurch) didn't feel anything, heard about it on the radio at work. Agreed on the mediajizz thing, getting a wee bit old imo.
