That is so awesome. The link says that "A half-mile block of 40-story buildings could fit inside this lit stretch of Hang Son Doong" There's also a jungle in that cave. I bet there's all kinds of cool cave life in that jungle.

Cave maps? Can you darken the skybox to black and give some kind of illumination for units inside to still be playable. Maybe terrain at certain height could be blacked out to give a cross section appearance.

This is an idea I've had for a long time now. Unfortunately I've done little to realize it. Perhaps the night time thingy from... CA? could be a nice touch?

Weren't there crystal maps in TA? Maybe I'm thinking of Mechwarrior 2.. Both were spectacular products of 20th century technology.
