Yesterday, Balanced annihilation was working perfectly fine - now, the game crashes in the loading screen after hitting 'start.'
Checking the forums got me 'change your graphics driver' as the most common fix, but that hasn't helped. The crash also doesn't seem to care about maps or AIs used. Finally, I looked for a update to Spring itself, then got a notice to download another update (1.21 I believe.)
Looking at my infolog file after the first crash, I do recall a 'change your driver' line near the very bottom, but it disappeared sometime after the various updates.

Alright, this makes no sense. I just tried starting a game, and it worked.
Then I tried the trenches map. Crash.
I ran through my list to see what works. I ran through all the AIs I had, and they worked. Other then the game giving an error message (spring has stopped working) on quitting (through the lobby itself is fine) when I had five or six bots on the map.
On the maps that don't work, the loading screen stops at - 'Loading x tiles from file 1/1' and may get to 'Reading Tiles' before I get the error message.
Confirmed maps I have that work are:
Arctic_Pass
Kappa_Basin
LLTAComplexV2
Mescaline_V2
Small Supreme Battlefield V2
Small Supreme Islands V2
Also, maps like Tabula v2/v3 and FolsomDam Flooded/Final which worked perfectly fine before now fail to load.
And while Trenches is the biggest file by far, mescaline is about the third biggest I have at 29MB, while some of the non-working ones are less then 10MB. OverCrudeWater16 is less then 1MB.
All my troubles started after trying to play the Trenches map. Maybe I'll try re-installing and re-loading various maps, but the map files don't change the program itself, do they? Am I going to have to wipe everything and start over after trying to play a bad map?
