any assistance you guys may have on this issue would be appreciated
i know it would probably be a fools errand almost, since no one else is complaining, but it still doesn't work for me after 2 more spring updates in this time. also redownloaded the maps, no improvement

As jK posted already, he found and fixed the issue. You will have to wait until the next release.
