Inverting The Mouse Buttons

Post by Shrapnel »

I know what your thinking, just go to settings and check/uncheck the box. well i did that, i want the game to play like the original TA, by using the left mouse button for my tasks. however even when i restart my computer after making the changes i still am stuck with the default settings. and yes i read the FAQ and it doesnt say anything about this.

So please if there is another way to do this let me know, thanks.

This should so be a Monthly Topic Rotation...

Anyways, you can not currently change the mouse setup to another configuration. It is stuck on two button setup. Stop living in the world of Mac computers, and accept that your mouse has two buttons.

"Invert Mouse" in the settings refers to the "Up is Down" flight-sim style control... if you are really that much of a pansy you could change it in the Mouse Control Panel on your computer... :P

Mac's had one button mouses for quite a while, so (at least in my twisted mind), Mac users would prefer the one button setup.

How's TA's control system one button? Did you ever even play the game?

I have played the game, but never with the other mouse set up. I assumed from what other people were saying about it that the other mouse set up was using primarily one button.

Well, of course there's a primary button... it's just left mouse button instead of rmb, which makes actual sense :P

mmm...by default, ota was on the left click interface. I hated it and changed it to right click interface. (options -> interface -> L/R click interface) Spring uses right click interface by default. My friend played ota with left click and it confused him when he started spring. Took about a week to finally get used to it.

But yes, it would be a nice feature to have. Just a check box or something. If not, its not big deal. I prefer spring's default anyway. But thats just me.

I would prefer if the mouse settings were mapped by a tool with presets similar other games. also, the ability to map keys to things...
