Currently, whenever I try to run the Gundam RTS mod, either through the installer or from Spring Lobby, it starts giving off a not responding message shortly after loading the maps. It currently continues loading until it reaches the "Finalizing" screen, where it more or less comes to a complete halt until I shut it off.
The infolog gives me "Hang detection triggered for Spring 0.82.7.1 (0.82.7.1)." and goes on to a loop which you'll find on the attached file. I've looked at older cases but so far none of the suggested solutions seem to work.

Re: More Crashing issues.
i may be wrong; but recently there was talk of the feature placement aspect of the latest GRTS on the latest spring engine version causing hang detection to trigger on game start
try loading up a map without features (for example, comet catcher redux) and see if the error occurs.

Re: More Crashing issues.
I'll give that a try. Presently Spring Lobby is refusing to allow me to sign in as well [though this might be due to connection limitations on my own end] so I can't download the map yet.
However, does this mean I can't use either the Gundam installer or any maps with features?

Re: More Crashing issues.
you can manually download maps and things like that from http://www.springfiles.com/
and no, the gundam installer is still good, as is the game; its just a small engine conflict with the official gundam maps and some others that use a specific method for placing features rather than the traditional
related : http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.ph ... hilit=hang
gundam should still play fine on maps that dont use featureplacer... so... yeah, you're good to go for now with skirmishes etc, and i would assume that next engine version will bring a fix for the official maps

Re: More Crashing issues.
I think there's been a misunderstanding, while I can get into Spring lobby [but now not go online, but I suspect that has more to do with lousy wireless], I cannot even open Gundam installer past the opening screen. So this means that either I have to clear all official maps from my drive [since if it is that, then the issue with the Gundam installer is that it tries to process all of them and hits a snag there] and replace them with featureless ones or I'm not addressing the main issue.
Downloaded Comet Catcher Redux [took a while to locate as I didn't think to add underscores between words] and retried it to similar results, I'm attaching the log.
Edit: Re-read and followed the advice given in the related Thread, I'd already tried killing all over programs, turning the resolution down did nothing.

Re: More Crashing issues.
The hang is caused by your not so good Intel graphics. It may work with different drivers and graphics settings.[f=0000000] GL: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family

Re: More Crashing issues.
I suspected that might have been the issue [though I kind of let it slip from my mind after checking for updates on it].
New driver downloads are sort of beyond me so I guess I'll have to wait until Summer Break when I'm back home on a desktop.
Thanks for your patience with me.
