Spring settings for eye candy quality

Post by Basil_pup »

What are the video settings for spring to get a quality as in video trailers ? Are they playable on low-middle PC (Core 2 Duo E8400 , 4Gb RAM , Radeon 4870 512 Mb )?

Crank everything to the right, start spring, see how it runs, if it runs poorly start dialing down things.

you can select the water you want ingame with the command

Code: Select all

/water x
where x is a number between 1 and 4; i think the most resource hungry is water 3. i prefer water 4

Use reflective units, shadows at 2048 - 4096, particles at 5grand, and bumpmapped water with shorewaves enabled. That's should set you up pretty good.
