it is only that section that is deprecated. It was introduced in a time shortly after support for compiling spring under linux was introduced, and it was still a special thing. Today, the majority of engine devs use linux, and spring is therefore possibly more stable under linux then on windows even. no need to worry!

I'll admit it could be confusing and scary to people who don't catch the "this article is deprecated" and think "Linux development is deprecated"... perhaps some very bored Linux developer who has a job where they have access to an Internet browser but not their development environment on some un-busy holiday shift could make a new page or fix the link or whatever... probably just needs a link to the related forum posts or whatever anyway.hoijui wrote:it is only that section that is deprecated.
