I disagree, a clear logo make the thing much more memorable than a screenshot. Then MidKnight's attempt tries to be both logo and screenshot, and this is where it fails: The screenshot part make the logo uncomfortably busy, the logo part cover up the screenshot. I'd say it should be logo only.

Well imo the gamemaker and torque ones are the bst from the above, but my point was that if it';s going to be a screenshot, then it needs to be a good one, and not some weird collage thing.

Edit: Made the preview thing the spring logo. I think that that is appropriate. I was working on something in photoshop, but at the end of the day, the logo fits better imo.

for the logo in the list of engines a simple logo is obv. better than the screenshots mosaic. though the mosaic thing is quite nice otherwise but not for such small logo thing.
for the preview logo image thing it would be nice if it said RTS somewhere ie "Spring RTS Engine" instead of just "Spring Engine"

that is how they do things on indie/moddb.

after a while of being archived it gets deleted. It prevents people from ninja fucking other people's game profiles should the account get hacked.
