Real Chassis system?

I am just curios if there is some Chassis Gadget for spring?
I know there is something like on ,,THIS" but thats not what i am looking for like Earth 2150/Warzone 2100?

as usually its possible but afaik nobody has bothered yet

things to look at that come close:
-the big ship from THIS, you can select which turrets to put on it
-that funky mod where you load units as turrets

Define Chassis for everyone. A single buzzword does not explain a concept at all and comparing it to other games only works for those that know the game.

As it happens I know Earth 2150 so I assume by chassis you mean a system where you can design units by combining multiple parts and then produce them with the abilities the parts give for the total cost of the parts. I also assume it does not mean you want to be able to target/damage individual parts independently or that you want to be able to add parts after a unit is built.

In that case, the micro machines method may well be best, so long as there is not an insane number of combinations.
