I'm not familiar with Pureball as a player myself, but I can't imagine any Dignitas player is much of a pushover. There was talk of Sjow and Select both going out east for the next GSL.
This weekend i41 LAN will be streamed, should be good :)

Pureball is the other guy in the final of that tourney posted by Otherside.

The format of the stage matches confuses me. It looks like the commentators are near the players and commenting in real time. How are the players stopped from gleaming extra information from hearing the commentary?

We had inner ear headphones for the game sound, and over the top of that we had sound blocking headphones.

Yeah I just started playing SC2 because jaz gave me a trial key and I'm about to order it because it's pretty pro, been watching rAndy play in lan tournaments lol, always getting owned by Pureball but hopefully you can still make a comeback from the losers bracket

Already downloaded 2 guides for it and I beat jaz in my first ever game which was a 1v1 :) quite chuffed about that because he's played a few games already

Owned him with some thors :)

Watching the randy/pureball games has made me prefer terran lol

u may not remember me randy because i wasnt a 1v1er wen u were around but I was pretty infamous (MightySheep) ofc im always mostly on smurfs

gl with tourneys

Fu. You said you didn't know what was what and as it was your first game ever, I decided to play it slow to give you a chance. Then you come out of nowhere with Thors and Mauderers... How was I to know you'd try so hard

Also, I've never played SC1 and, including this game, I've played a total of 3 Multiplayer games so basically, the game we played, I only played 2 more games than you have, both of us have about the same skill atm :|

how much money do you get?

In sc2 I miss that you can not just watch the replays of the pros ingame.
You have to go to a site and put the replays in a folder path that totally sucks.
I want to be able to just dl and watch the replays of big torunaments ingame.

So what this article says is that the non existend lan mode broke blizzards neck?

Are you sure you're doing it right? I can download a replay and just double-click it to watch. Starcraft 2 automatically launches and opens the replay file. The correct file associations were set up automatically when SC2 installed.

It's more complicated than that. SC2 won't run on most korean home PC's yet, PC bangs have been slower to pick it up than expected because their hardware tends to be underpowered for it as well. There was drama in the competitive scene about high level players switching over because the companies running the tournies were trying to force players to continue playing SC1 so they didn't have to pay blizzard to run SC2 tournies, and that took some time to wind down (it's still going on but most orgs are switching over to SC2 now anyways)

The SC2 pro scene in Korea is quickly gaining momentum now though, and where the pro scene goes the players follow.

This works in 50-75% of the time, but sometimes it stays black.
Or if I want to watch another one I have to close the whole app.
Or if its the current version I always have to log into battlenet.

I just whish I could browse the tournament replays ingame directly.
