MTR? This is unlikely to be possible ( though I may be proven wrong)

Also of note, you can actually do more things with the right click order control scheme, in that in spring you can right click to guard or repair etc, but this is impossible with a left click control scheme. Its a far more flexible system, and one thats present in all modern RTS games

Yeah, Spring mouse control is more effective. Also you can change mouse behaviour in OTA to conform modern RTS standards. So, you won't need to switch between two modes next time.

I do know that breaking habits is very painful but this one is REALLY worth.

Dont allow those that want it to be the other way around to change it for themselves?
why the hell not?

I just could not find in the hotkeys settings where can change controls for mouse, keys - yes ... but not mouse buttons.

I also have this problem. Apparently this option has existed but it was removed for some reason. I tried to change the OTA version to right click order behaviour, but it doesn't work well with the replay addon (the replay will still use left button to execute an order; the replayer takes care of such functionality as to build in rows for instance).

Also, in spring I would like to disable the other functions on right click other than move. When you also try to guess what the user wants you usually end up annoying him. In this case: when cloaked commander wants to move he ends up reclaiming trees, and decloaks in the process.

The option for a left click interface has categorically never existed in Spring.

Ok, then i was wrong. I interpreted the answer in this FAQ as if it had existed:

very strange, spring looks like a modern engine but assign actions to mouse impossible.
