It's really cool, and a bit confusing when you play it the first time :)

Good job.

I actually picked it up at Steam launch. Pretty fun, barring the eventual headache. :-)

it looks like any audio visualization with some piloting controls and random objects to shoot at. Pretty colors though.

As did I. I'm buying this the moment that I can set aside the extra money for it. Speaking of, I just got a new Evo 4G sprint phone today... An android port would be beyond incredibly cool (I realize that ports like that aren't exactly easy, so don't put much stock into what I say, but yeah the thought of playing this on my phone is beyond cool *wistful sigh*).

The demo wasn't my cup of tea, I didn't find the gameplay very interesting and it seems I'm not very impressed by any graphics (I noticed this with games like Rez and Enslaved, to me they were fairly uninteresting games but people rave about the graphics).

Yeah, the game looks really awesome cool, but i didnt quite understand the gameplay... (=why should i play it?) felt pointless (like the flower game in other thread).

You kill enemies and save friends from arena to arena, moving through wormholes from one to another. I'm not sure what impact your music has on the gameplay itself, but there we are.

It's a space shooter where the enemies look like flying chain chomps.

Jeff Gerstmann talked about the game in the latest Giant Bombcast, calling it the Kane & Lynch 2 of indie games.

"I think it's a game that you either love or hate," J├©rgensen said. "It's interesting that we have scores ranging from 1/10 to 9/10, so we have critics that really loved it and those that didn't really get it."
Equally applicable to The Polynomial?

I'm glad he got it out the door either way.

You got a full page about Polynomial in CPC! (a big french mag) :-)
But the review is harsh and the grade low. :(
