Trademark you seem to be forgetting minecraft isn't even in beta yet.

I doubt it will ever become feature complete (to much shit that could be added) but it has great potential.

Its a sandbox game and therefore doesnt have an objective or anything
I think thats what most people are missing.

I am not sure how a game that is not officially out of alpha stage can be overrated...

I personally find the game shallow and simple. This game sure has some potential, I might check on it later down the road, but for now I am going to finish my current run then leave it.

Have you started crafting?

I haven't made anything more complex than pickaxes and glass myself, but the possibilities are daunting.

Yeah. I made a house out of wool blocks, was fully clad in iron armor (with a gold helmet), had a stockpile of iron tools and ore, and was starting a rail road when I died. I still find it far too simple, and the fact that 3 creepers popped out of no where and killed me doesn't make me like it any more :( .

I fearfully await the unholy marriage of Minecraft and Dwarf Fortress...

Minecraft with the depth of dwarf fortress would be the best game ever.

Playing minecraft really makes me want a new dungeon keeper game.

I'm just very aware that this game is in alpha, and am waiting, likely to purchase, seeing what content he adds. Afaics, this is the beginnings of a killer game, it just needs filling with content.

I am waiting for an open source remake of this. Or at least a free one. It seems that there are already a few projects started for it.

I dunno why people complain about the price.

We should be supporting indie devs. I purchased so that the developer will continue to develop a game which has the potential to be an amazing game.

Its already addictive and it has very little content and its only in the alpha stages.

Im sitting here bracing for epic.
