Segmentation fault. Help please.

Post by sprout »

Got this while loading a spring game. Latest BA.
Segmentation fault (SIGSEGV) in spring 0.82.5.0
Stacktrace:
/usr/local/bin/spring() [0x85d2b47]
[0xb776a400]
# NOTE: above line shows no path -> not translating
/usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so(+0xb32467) [0xb32c6467]
This stack trace indicates a problem with your graphic card driver. Please try upgrading or downgrading it. Specifically recommended is the latest driver, and one that is as old as your graphic card. Also try lower graphic details and disabling Lua widgets in spring-settings.
Translated Stacktrace:
/home/user/Downloads/spring_0.82.5/rts/System/Platform/Linux/CrashHandler.cpp:249
??:0
Spring crashed Segmentation fault (SIGSEGV)
AL lib: ALc.c:1818: alcCloseDevice(): deleting 250 Buffer(s)
unitsync: initfindvfs: Saves/*.ssf
unitsync: findfilesvfs: 0
unitsync: initfindvfs: demos/*.sdf
unitsync: findfilesvfs: 0
unitsync: findfilesvfs: 1
I'm running Debian Squeeze with a ASUS HD 5770 512MB card, with the latest non-free fglrx driver (ati-driver-installer-10-8-x86.x86_64.run)
I compiled the engine and the SpringLobby my self.

Any ideas here?
Thanks.
