huuuuuge blast here at about 6 in the morning!i was awake (just before i always wake up just before things)i heard it cause i'm in the same countyand just south of the area luckily theres no "kuwaiti veil" over the area because thats goign north.

anyone else awake and hear it?

Despite what you may have heard, not everything bad in the world happens due to terrorists. Lots of it is just good old-fashioned incompetence... here's a CNN article, for whatever it's worth:

Would've said it even had you not mentioned terrorists... couple of the other forums I've visited have already placed the blame on Saddam, Bin Laden, Iraquis, Americans, Isrealites, and probably El Nino too. One guy said this was made him decide to join the army.

heh i think is was more one of those fun mistakes liek throwing a cigar into a room full of gas. things like that anyhoo now i can see this big hulk of smoke over london it just missed my area hurrah! oh and people are panic buying petrol lol this is just another reason i don't have a car.
