Re: The 19 century in spring
---http://rebell.at/artikel/ta-spring-interview-enSJ: Before we started on TA Spring, there we already had the 3D-demo recorder and what is usually referred to as oldspring, which is a RTS in a 19th century type enviroment that I had programmed. With combining these, we had a running version in about 2 months although we then spent another 8 months improving stuff before the initial release.
This might be relevant. If anything it would be neat to see. If if still exists.

There is already such a project underway by bobthedinosaur and myself. It will be ready in approximately two years.

I worked on a 19th century mod for TA. It never got particularly far - the engine isn't really suited for it. You're far better off in an engine like Total War, but then there's already games made for that.

We have the models for it, the next step is texturing them and getting lua, lus, and unitdefs set up.

We had this one great guy from South Africa who was doing a game about Boer Wars. Unfortunately he raged after he realized how poor and lame designers and coders we were...

Re: The 19 century in spring
I wouldn't be able to help with any of the models or any of that jazz, but I could probably whip you up some nice loadscreensWarlord Zsinj wrote:Come help us then
