Won't recognize mod, crashes with other mod [WinXP, netbook]

I downloaded and installed spring_0.82.3.exe and then downloaded S44Lyuban_v107.sdz from the spring-1944 website and placed it in C:\Program Files\Spring\mods. When running the spring lobby however no mods were listed, even after selecting "Tools->Reload maps/mods" or restarting the lobby.

I then downloaded Kernel_Panic_4.0.zip from their website, extracted the zip as instructed into C:\Program Files\Spring. The lobby now recognizes this mod but crashes while starting. The infolog says my graphics card is insufficient (I'm running this on an Acer Aspire One netbook), even on lowest graphics quality. Are any mods playable on a netbook?

S44Lyuban_v107.sdz is old and not compatible with Spring 0.82.x. You should install latest version via Spring Downloader which comes with Spring installer.
