Cannot load mods with 0.81.2.1

Maps and AI (and possibly mods) in 0.81.2.1 don't want to load anymore. I've gotten these errors.

"unable to find archives for map X"
"unable to find script for ai X"

These errors don't show up in the previous 0.82.1 though.

Are you sure you got the numbers right ? Hard to believe 0.82.1 is "previous" to 0.81.2.1 (which is the current official release)...

The spring loader wants me to download 0.81.2 even though i have 0.82.1

You downloaded a Release candidate, not an official version. Redownload and reinstall (after uninstalling what you have of course), and this time pay attention to what you're clicking on.

Its also possible springdownloader detected incorrect spring path. Check on its settings tab.
