Sound quality sux man! shame, I'm interested in your live sound, given what you were saying in the other thread.

I definitely see what you mean about the vocalist's confidence on stage, seems v different from the impression i got from his studio performance.

Seems pretty cool tho, next time give us some mp3's off of the sound desk! :P

Heh, if we play at the aftershock again we can probably hook that up, but the promoter for the shows that we are currently scheduled for is the ultimate douchebag and so are the majority of the people that work for him (a la the soundmen).

In the show on those youtube vids, they had 2 monitors for everyone. We didn't get a soundcheck nor did they even bother to turn any of the monitors on except the one in front of our singer.

When playing several of the songs it's fairly important that me and the other guitar player can hear each other (For example, "The Bleeding"), at that show I could barely hear him if no one else was playing. It's amazing that we actually pulled that song off so well. If you notice at the end of the song I couldn't hear him at all and so I left a big pause on my end note and skipped a few others until I could tell where he was at.

I fucking hate kilroy, what a fucking douchebag (kilroy is unfortunately the biggest promoter in Kansas City). I've known that asshole for years, I dunno how he weaseled his way into so many cracks and crannies of the clubs here in town.

heh "kilroy" sounds like a big douche

i remember getting screwed during battle of the bands; we were the only band to sell an amount of tickets that would allow us to get money, and during our set the promoter literally took off running down the street.
