Whenever I run a game the bots do not show up, but it shows that they are there if I uncheck random start positions.
How do I add a bot so that it works in game?

What makes you think the bot are not here? Have you scouted the whole map? Maybe you're just tricked by how the fog of war is not shown even though it is present and hiding your bots until you bump into them!
