MT spring

Post by oksnoop2 »

I was thinking about reinstalling windows and starting fresh with MT Spring. Here's my computer's stats.

OS: Microsoft Windows Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition, 64-bit (build 7600)
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5800 @ 2.00GHz;
4093MB RAM, 8186MB pagefile

Do current MT users think I should bother with going to MT spring? Should i wait for the next release? I play , or at least try to play, all the spring games with exception to Kernal Panic.

it is just a different exe, nothing more. you don't have to reinstall windows to switch from one to the other, not even reinstall spring its self, if you have both exe's.
you can have them side by side, as spring.exe and spring-gml.exe, and then just switch from one to the other in your lobby clients settings.
So if you can get a hold of it, no reason not to try.

The text in bold red on the download page essentially means that if you play mods that require lots of LUA graphics, you should stick with single thread.
