My loss will be your gain.......most likely
News update: Since the NKG is pretty much done we are going to release CT as a one faction game and work the PN in later. There are still some stuff to be done for the NKG so we are not releasing yet. Stuff like the spacerock.lua, sounds, and effects are currently holding us back. Though it saddens me that that the PN will not be in the first launch is does make me happy that we've magically come from about 60 percent done to 95 percent done.

Well, Frankie Lee, he sat right down and put his fingers to his chin
Just wanted to add, we will more than likely also release a map using our flat color style.

He's saying that he wants to make you a bona fide map texture, like the one below:oksnoop2 wrote:Thanks for your offer but i think I've almost got it, just a matter of learning Pen tool.

@ MidKnight
That pic perfectly captures why it wouldn't be a good idea. Putting CT units onto a map like that would be like putting South Park characters into a Tom Thompson painting. CT units look like something out of 1993... which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's obviously a stylistic choice as much as a labour-saving one. A good CT map would probably be less Himalayas and more Corneria.

I'm just of the opinion that the level of realism behe has going on in his maps, which look fantastic by the way, would just really clash with CT's ugliness....i mean uh style..
