Comet Catcher Challenge/test

Post by krogothe »

Right, building only basic mexes and solars, as ARM on XTA, how many metal spots can you count in that map?
If you find more than 81 you get a cookie!
Now build a mex on each spot and say how much metal you are making from them (excluding commander).
If you get more than X (which will be announced shortly) you get TWO cookies!

If no one gets a cookie my AI will :P

I will play AI's on comet catcher, but my AI is designed to play the game and destroy the enemy, not to count mex patches.

It doesnt seem really hard to beat a program at placing mexes however, since last i checked most AIs have a bad attitude towards placing mexes correctly

mex placement is not soemthign most of us are too good at when automating the process. We seem mroe inclined to other thgisn sucha s improovign voerrall efficiency, implementing new dieas, fixing bgus etc..

I'll change thigns in a mex class to see what hapepns btu I wouldnt start one from scratch. If I did I'd be training neural nets but i havent read all ym neural net research yet.
