Never have I attacked another persons mod as a pile of trash and justified it using my status as a contributor in this community. Nor have I suggested this is a valid action in this thread or elsewhere. My criticisms when I make them are not insults, and are backed up with reasons.

I read & read through this topic, I haven't done anything wrong to be treated like this! Above all els mates! like i said i am currently busy with an game that i am making with an friend! Once done i'll post it here ... As i said!

For some i said bad stuff too, but it was out of anger due to i just can't stand here & all is attacking me for just being simple nice to you guy's.

This is not the way to treat new members here. This site's managment is poor! This can be fix. How many new members brows this site & sees how you treat me & think to them selfs what "IF" i post here i will follow the same route?

Please understand my point of view too?

knorke wrote:he claims to be experienced in working with unreal and some others engines, having made an rts with own engine and then all he posts are screenshots of an UI? (i did not see them but yeah..)
And if you google a little bit you find lots of postings/pages like "details will follow" but nothing else.
Does not seem professionally or even serious to me :?

Stop Right there i haven't claim i made an RTS with own engine? I said an engine was being develop for an RTS game!

ok it is still being developed. Never mind ;) I thought I had read something about an RTS similiar to warcraft you were doing but maybe I misread.
Please understand my point of view too?
Hey I do ;) But you must understand the other side too. Most people in this forum (internet in general) do not take care great care when posting messages, they just write what crosses their mind first. That is not always good or nice but trying to change that is useless. It is better to remember that even a message that appears to be "evil" is just someone who was too lazy to "write nicer" it or put some smilies. It is very different to how people speak in "real life."

To explain a little more, your thread is like going to a room with some musicians and saying "Hi, I am making a band. Bye!" There would be missing information. For example, what instrument do you play. How good are you at? What kind of music do you want to play?

If zwzsg asked "Have you even made one game in your life?" it is like somebody asking "have you ever been in a band before?"
I guess you can see how that is important to other people who are interessted in the project.

Fact is bad behavior of new members is acceptable since they do not know the rules.
Bad behavior of old members should not be.
A new member posting in an offensive manner should be dealt with by moderators not other members.
If new member is being offensive report it and let a moderator explain to him in private what he did wrong not gank him in public.
IMO whoever cant act this way needs to get moderated himself and don't make me make a speech about it as well.

You know, I only asked that because xzalion said a couple time he had a long experience as a game designer. I mean, it's perfectly cool to start a Spring game even if you don't have any experience. But just don't claim to be a veteran in the game industry then.
