While I'm not against the stylistic choice (you get points for being different) I can potentially see this design having aerodynamic issues in a real-world setting. That being said, I know nothing about aerodynamics, that's just me making barely-educated guesses. Maybe try a way to make the open bay look more aerodynamic, instead of very blocky and straight?

i havent seen any other thunder remake, so i smell a bit of sarcasm, and im very sad :(

SanadaUjiosan - ye, u are right, as long as bay will stay open coz it looks 'different', i got no idea how to make it more aerodynamic :(

aGorm - ur minigun could use few more 'barrels' (dunno if its the right word) anyway cool as always :D

ah, wont make special thread for that, someone wants to send me human 3d model for my blender? (or at least something that reminds human :D)

okay...

con:
too many polygons on bombs, round stuff in the rear
body not well defined, not interesting to look at

pro:
well it's your second model...

It's the B-Team requesting that you hand over all your underage girls at once

You should lighten up the fur a bit, it's very difficult to see anything at all.

nice models wombat, but i have to say it looks like you're using WAY too many polies on the bombs and the engines/thrusters/whatever in the back. Other than that i like the style and the concept

ok, second try, Thunder v2, changed everything together with open bomb bay, coz couldnt make it look cool but aerodynamic at the same time :(
pilot cabin is going to look more 'clearly' with textures i think. im sure u noticed this triangle behind cabin and u dont like it, its already fixed, but was too lazy to make new screens :D

Image

EDIT: ok, i removed this triangle and lowered the body around cabin a bit.

i already removed a lot of vertices from engine, i hope textures will balance details in this model.
final version, i stop uploading pictures of this model, so i dont make mess in this topic :D

Huge improvement, I still think the engines look out of place with their level of detail compared to the angular main body.

Much better, though I agree with bruce about the engines looking out of scale and place.

All the fur looks completely black to me, no details coming through at all.

Having just looked at home, I can safly say the fur is way to dark... I realy didn't realise how suxy my work monitor was! Luckaly everything will be touched up on the home rig, so worry not, fur will be lighter!

Also... Old and Busted:
