Problem with Colormap (Bug?)

I have the Problem that on some maps the Colormap is always maped on the Trees, and not on the Ground:

Funny... You're running the game on a gfx card that has been reported many times as not beeing able to run Spring...

They can, just not fully up to spec. Even my P3 667 with a 32MB geforce2 downstairs can run spring at 800x600 with most effects off, but the main crippling aspect is the lack of map shading, which makes it impossible to read terrain heights visibly in the overhead view. The game otherwise doesn't run that badly though...

I'm thinking the terrible horrible old and poorly manufactured video card is to blame.

I used to run Spring fine with that card. I could go grab it and throw it back in my computer to test it if you like. But it used to run fine, just not with shadows or anything.

Have you tried updating your graphics drivers?

I run spring just fine with a geforce mx400..64mb, I think.

No shadows, clouds, reflections, tracks or fog, of course...but it IS playable.

My stepdads comp runs it fine, and thats under integrated graphics 32MB on a rubbish motherboard.....
