where to put AI under (K)ubuntu ?

I have tonns of .spring directorys around my hdr here but none contains the AI folder.
Where to put for example Shard 0.21 ?

depends on how you installed it. if you installed through package repo, it should be /usr/share/games/spring/AI/Skirmish/ but as much as i know, Shard source was not yet released, and AF only supplied the .dll, not the .so.

I may gather the motivation to resetup ubuntu and push out a .so after April, and the source is scheduled to be released after mid July ( after I've graduated )

if the AI folder doesn't exist at that location, you can create it there and put the stuff in place

Little Addition for AF:
Shard works perfect with CA now (under Windows), but it is a big performance-eater (when playing in network),
