Sound problem with Spring

OS: Ubuntu 9.10
Problem: No sounds with springlobby at all and only some sounds within the game. Like I hear only com walking but none of the explosions, or only static sound.

it's probably pulseaudio failure.

99.99% chance that it is pulseaudio. Your two options are:

1. Disable pulseaudio.

2. Upgrade to 10.04 beta. This is maybe slightly less guaranteed but all of the pulseaudio problems for myself and some others have disappeared on upgrade.

you could get ALSA audio driver for linux, it fixed a lot of audio problems for me.
