Spring installing problem with Ubuntu Karmic

Post by IDex »

Installed Spring lobby by following the instructions here: http://springrts.com/wiki/Ubuntu_install
Reinstalled it few times but I always get this error message: "Couldn't get your spring versions from any unitsync library"
I played Spring with 9.04 but when I upgraded I started getting these error messages.
I'm pretty new with Linux (I don't know any terminal commands) so I thought I may have missed something.

in SpringLobby, go to Edit - Preferences - Spring (a tab), and make sure you have the right value there (eg. the files exist), you can also try the Auto Configure button.

Thanks a lot. Should have asked this sooner.
It the path was incorrect. Just pressed auto configure and it changed to right one. No errors anymore. Thanks.
