These problems are not related to each other. I just did not want to spam H&B with 3 threads.

1. First off, When I make maps from this computer I get these weird map wrinkles/tears in the minimap. I use Spring Map Edit.

2. The other thing I've noticed is that when i zoom out a bit my unit's team color seem to change. Observe the difference between the above picture with this one:

3. I don't have a screenshot to show off the last thing I've noticed, anyway i'm running the laptop's screen as the secondary screen and an acer as the main screen. So the game shows up on the acer and the desktop shows on dell's screen. On the dell screen i have a little desktop CPU widget running. There is a pretty big discrepancy between it and the one in Spring. In spring it will say i'm running at 3 percent CPU usage off the start. But when I look at the desktop Widget it says i'm running at like 40 or 50 percent CPU usage. Why the difference and which one do i trust?
So if anyone needs anymore information from me please ask as these three things are really starting to bother me.

1. dunno.
2. Ive noticed it, it seems to be exclusive to maps with waterplanecolor tags, and bound by other factors as well.
3. Springs internal cpu use reporting only counts sim time, not rendering. ( i may be wrong on that one)

That's right. OS shows total cpu usage (sim time + rendering etc.).Beherith wrote:3. Springs internal cpu use reporting only counts sim time, not rendering. ( i may be wrong on that one)
Both.and which one do i trust?
Re: Map Wrinkles/team color changes/CPU measurements
Is there anything I can do to replace my minimaps? Like with a static picture or something?
Re: Map Wrinkles/team color changes/CPU measurements
i got that too when i disenabled reflective units. enable reflective units and it goes away. there was a topic on this and that worked for someone else too. also after i downloaded a new testversion of spring.exe it was fixed as well.2. If you are using my mapconv, simply replace the mini.dds with what you want, and recompile.
