similar problem, i just set windowed mode with 1200 as the vert. rez. and 1900+1200 as the horiz. rez., then dragged the window till it covered both screens perfectly. It works without a hassle, unless you like scrolling at the side of the screen.

maybe bypass it with a widget (dunno if its possible)
