OK... tested that, and it looks like if I wipe it, then I can make it read an all-SDD set. So... breaking it up is theoretically practical (although... meh, if deleting ArchiveCache is something ordinary users might need to do on a regular basis, that needs to be something in SpringSettings or the Lobby clients, imo).
I'll get on that here in a bit.
Will it sync like this, though? Or am I going to have to zip everything up and change the modinfos whenever I go do testing runs?
I mean... meh, it's like 6 files at this point (AntiCheat, SafeWidgets, P.U.R.E., WB, two "mutators" that actually load P.U.R.E., made P.U.R.E. core a type 2, etc.), so there's lots of dependency crap I could screw up. It'd become 7, maybe 8, if the content is made separate. Not saying that's un-doable, just... icky. Complexity is the bane of speed.

Update: acquiring maps, mods, mutators and ------- sinks is no longer a pain for the end user. It is now seamless.

Do I need to start an extremely flamey political thread to put out the gpl fires?
