Hey guys,
On map delta siege dry with mod balanced annihilation V7.12, when I attempt to start the game in single player with another bot, the screen just stays black. I can here my robot moving but cannot see anything. I am using ubuntu 9.10 launching from spring lobby. What's going on here?

Sorry, I am pretty new to this. How do you run spring in windowed mode and where do you find the infolog?hoijui wrote:try to run spring in windowed mode (instead of full-screen). please post your infolog (attach as a file to your post).

the file is called infolog.txt, and resides in your writeable data-dir, which is usually ~/.spring/ under linux.
you can set windowed mode in ~/.springrc, or in SpringSettings, which is a GUI for editing ~/.springrc. SpringSettings can be started from withing SpringLobby, through one of the menues.

Re: Screen Stays Black When I Start the Game
Ok, I attached the infolog. It is weird because now the game is working. I have opened it multiple times. But this has happened before, and then it starts doing the black screen thing. I found the option to uncheck full screen. But I am leaving it checked for now. Also, I don't know if I should create a new thread, but I am also having a problem where I am playing the game in full screen and it switches to just a regular window on my desktop, instead of taking up the whole screen. Can you help me with that?hoijui wrote:the file is called infolog.txt, and resides in your writeable data-dir, which is usually ~/.spring/ under linux.
