Forum details that might need abit changing

Post by Soul »

I just noticed that if i "save" a pm that i have sent to someone else then i can't return it to "sent messages", but i can return it to the "inbox".

This is no biggie, but i though that if i saved my sent messages and my inbox they would still be in separate lists, but apearently that is not so.

And i don't want it to be messy in the future, so either the choice of returning saved messages to "sent messages" or making separate lists for different messages in the "saved messages" folder would be great.
Perhaps both?

Maybe this isn't even something that is worth the time to fix, but it bothers me, and i supose it could bother others too.

I find it strange that noone has been bothered by this before...

I'm pretty sure it's a PHPBB bug. We don't have any PHP coders playing with the guts of the forum at all, so it's unlikely we could fix this if we wanted to.

The spring forums are barely a little more than what you would get with any random script kiddie downloading and installing PHPBB onto their server box. 95% of the work that's been done after the fact has been done from the PHPBB Control Panel (read, no coding or database knowledge at all required). As much as I've learned since we first upgraded to the most recent version, I wouldn't have the slightest clue where to start to fix an error of that type in the PM systems.
