Though I dont think its too interesting to watch SC2 at this point when its still so unrefined so nobody knows how to play it much. Better to watch SC or BA for example.

I have a cracked version of the closed beta version 13891.
I'm only able to watch replays with it though, atleast for now.

Although the progress on cracking the gameplay vs AI looks promisingly close.

However, its not likely to be any multiplayer on any cracked versions of SC2 anytime soon, since there are no LAN capabilities implemented.

The main reason i installed this cracked version was to test if my gear could handle the gameplay, and i can happily announce that it can.

And yeah, it seams like a large amount of the current beta testers are really awful players, i have yet to see any descent gameplay from the close to a hundred replays i have watched.

Star Craft 2 seams to be quite fun, with alot of intresting new features.
However i would say that in its current state SC2 is still inferior to SC1,
but its still in beta so i shouldn't be to harsh just yet...

Hm, i think there is a torrent somewhere that actually works, as for rapidshare... meh, i just used fileshack the speeds there was realy nice, atleast when i downloaded it.

If enough people scream for it i might bother posting some links.

Oh, they have gotten that far on wine too? good.

I don't know what the excact requirements are, but im on a fairly 'bad' gear atm, since the lightning took my good one.
My current computer handles WC3 on highest, and Torchlight on fairly high aswell.

Blizzard has always tried to make the minimum requirements quite low, so more people are able to play thier games.

My current specs are 3GHz and 2GB RAM, with a NIVIDIA GeForce 5900 Ultra and i'm running XP SP3.

SCII can watch replays without a beta key or crack just by dragging repays onto the exe, so I checked it out

first impressions are pretty meh and it looks like anus on medium graphics

Yeah, the current crack mainly enables you to bypass the loginscreen, future version of the crack will let you play vs the AI.

But i still use it, since its alot more clearer wich replay is wich cause you get detailed information about them before starting them, you dont get that if you just click and drag.

And if you have a large number of replays it quickly get messy.

Havent bothered to install it for replays yet

Piracy, I have belatedly remembered, is a problem. Don't discuss it here.

Its not piracy. Download the program from here for example, perfectly legally. You just cant do anything with that except watch replays without key.

The Beta is free, it doesn't cost anything, and anyone can download it.

Its not likely to be any multiplayer in any cracked versions, due to the none existence of LAN.

As I mentioned before, the main reson i am using this is to check if i will need a new computer when StarCraft 2 is released.

And i dare say that cracking a beta isn't something Blizzard will lose anything on, there are no money loss for them.

Infact Blizzard probably earns more then they are losing from these crack attemts, it gives them time to make an even better protection to its game for its final release.

I dare say that hackers trying to crack the game is actually just another part of the beta, a way for them to test their security before releasing the full game.
