Engine Changes

Post by HawkEye4077 »

This may not be the right board for this but is there any way that multiple engine versions can be run on the server ?

Every time the engine updates online play gets disabled. My mate runs Windows and he is updated straight away. I run Linux (The OS that it is developed on I believe !) FC12 and have to wait god knows how long for someone else to update it.

I understand that not all Linux distros can be supported but surely something could be sorted to allow everyone to keep playing while they wait for updates ?

Right rant over thanks for listening.

Yeah my laptop has Ubuntu on for that very reason. Funny thing is it wont connect to the server, it just times out after a while. It's really annoying :(
