I'm not sure how well this can be done with the current particle system - however i'm looking for a Spring explosion that would emulate a swarm or ball of aggressive looking default green spring nano particles.
Imagine you fired a bomb full of rogue nanobots at something and they swarmed all over it damaging it before fading away, the 'explosion' would look like this.
Posting here as I haven't been able to get this to work myself so was wondering if any ceg ninjas wanted to give it a go, I believe I have a cool use for it..!

Generally when you are looking for an effect to spice up the OTA content you should look into xta. it also fixes alot of balance issues and gameplay.Saktoth wrote:The nano explosion in XTA?
for the swarm part though i tried that about a year ago but i didnt know what i was doing so it didnt look like anything. I kind of need this effect as well if possible.

Here, I made this a few months ago but now it's no longer being used in CA. Hope it finds a home (I have virtually no experience in making CEGs, much less nice ones but it's something you can work with).

"Restorebomb" - a short lived feature before GoogleFrog revamped the terraform. It was an on/off button on all cons that made it so when they die, they mostly restore the area around them. The purpose was for taking down walled porcers as your cons could barely do a restore on the wall before getting killed by turrets, this allowed them more "restore power" at your will if you know they will die on their mission.Pxtl wrote:Curious, what for? I can't even remember what the effect looked like, I just modified some existing explosion to be green and fluffy. Probably not what the OP is looking for now that I think of it.
