That's old news. Java has had the "Spring Framework" since forever.

sinbad is lazy, you have to understand, he was going to post about it but then forgot to hit submit. One morning he woke up and found his browser had a very old post in it. After drinking a cup of what he thinks was still coffee he clicked save instead of submit. Today he was browsing his user profile and saw a drafts link. In glee he submitted his "another spring" post thinking it was talking about Florida, spring break and bikinis. However, to his dismay it was a link to some webpage and like that spring break he was once again let down.

What really pisses me off is the other Spring gets all the Google top placements. We need to infiltrate their community and take it down.

I'm thinking we pose as high-ranking Sun developers and gradually take over development. Then we integrate a "bug" that totally destroys user confidence in the project and randomly redirects people to Spring RTS.

Users will quit programming en-masse and decide it's easier and more fun just to play Spring all the time; consequently expanding our user base until Westward and Blizzard bow before us and beg for their players back.

Sound like a good plan to you guys?

Regarding google placement, any time you call a project by a common noun or adjective, it's invariable that you're going to have a really tough time rising to the top. Sucks, but that's the way it is.

what about if we write Java AIs using the Java Spring Framework?
i have a stub doing exactly this, and it partly even makes sense (even doh more for research, then for actual, by player usable AIs).
