Well, from what I have seen in my travels, the current "trendy" hairstyles are horrible looking so odds are in Europe my hair is too neat to be trendy.

I think that it's both.

Smoth has been compared to being like Dryden from "Vision of Escaflowne", handsome and having a lot of charisma, and not just by me. It's usually thought of as charismatic by women to tell them things like "pretty things shouldn't make scary faces" (sort of like Dryden) when they're irritated (and actually mean it) which Smoth has said before to me.
