50% CPU?? Are you shitting me? What computer have you got? What browser? How can you run Spring?Someone... hard to be sure as it was unsigned wrote:Edit: try again, still 50% cpu, and way more than 6 fps.
Ok... I set it to x/100 of a sec per frame... But a monitor can only display 60hz... So every 1.667 ms equals one frame... Then the lowest speed that can be used without frame loss is 3 ms, or 5 screen refreshes per frame. But I was running it at 6 ms per frame, which means 10 screen refreshes. So 6 fps. Errr... but that would only be 60 ms out of 100... I was so good at math once.
I set it out of 100, where 100 = 1 second. 60 hz, so 60 divided by 100... 0.6. Ok, I think I see what I did wrong. If 1ms = 0.6 of a refresh, then the lowest value with no skipping would be 5 ms, or 3 refreshes. Max framerate is 20 fps, and I was probably running at 16.67 before, not 6.
What site?AF wrote:Caydr, I know the guy who did that site! Worked in the same building and everything

I think I got it right this time. 10 FPS, and only 6x6, so even Beherith can enjoy my master work. If I had more time, I'd add a yellow frame, but history does not wait. If you get 50% CPU usage on this, you're just going to have to finally retire the Apple II.

Um.. Do you have a better liquid for storing disembodied heads? If so I'd like to hear about it and where it can be obtained/how it can be concocted.MidKnight wrote:Argh's new avatar is creepy. It's as if his disembodied head is floating in a pool of neon cyan liquid.
Argh, may I inquire as to the current location of your head?

It comes in wallpaper form, if you want it.
I can't live with my failure, I have to add a yellow frame or I won't be able to sleep tonight either.

Caydr can you interpret your avatar's meaning?
What does it stand for, what does it symbolize in your opinion?
