Spring lobby or TASClient

Post by MajorMayhem »

Which one do you all use the Lobby or the TASClient I have both installed. My other question is when I start the lobby it says there is no program associated with the file when it tries to update to the latest version. Googled it, saw the bug report which said it was fixed but doesn't say how to fix it. I downloaded the lastest version of the spring install but it still gives me the same error.

Both tend to sabotage me from time to time so i use the one that is atm crashing less for me :)

I like tasclient look more - fonts, and clarity of battlescreen, and some features like player search.

To fix the error, you unzip the newest SL from the site to the Spring directory, and thus write the newest version over the confused prior. That will fix it.

well i skin my windows and tasclient decide to match that skin, but springlobby decide to look like a faggy window with stupid icons on it, and not match system style. So i like tasclient on windows better.

on linux tascleint does not blend with system theme because its in wine but springlobby look great.

So if your a windows user and your gay, use springlobby.

And if your a linux user and your gay, use tasclient.

TAS Client does a lot more and has a lot more to offer to the typical player. Not to mention it's a lot easier to work and doesn't use over 9000 tabs.

Real pros don't use lobbies and just connect with an irc client.
