How to speed up spring start?

Please post here any tips, that could help me to speed up, my PC is amd phenom X3 II, Ati Radeon 4870, 4 Gb DDR 3 RAM, Win 7 64 bit, and still i connect later than other with slower PC. Of course my HD i clean, defragmented, no not needed processes, bunch of space on the HD, virus free.

the first time you play a game on a map, spring has to calculate some pathes. (The thing where it does count up the numbers)
Next game it will be faster.

chances are the clock scaling policy for your processor is set to smooth ( slow ) adaption for events, so it takes several seconds for the processor to reach full speed when loaded ( spring startup ), do check your OS settings and eventually switch to a more responsive profile ( with the disadvantage of higher power consumption & wasted heat while "semi-idle" )
