BF 2142 Northern Strike

I know its old, i bought it as EA Classic and tryied to install, but since you have to activate the addon online, i got into EAs bureaucracy (i never thought a company could develop such a thing, but given enough money the papermushroom blooms everywhere), spend 3 hourse in rage and tears, and now admit defeat. Anybody knows a good crack with wich i can get my - legaly bought (for the last time from EA, thats for sure) program running.

God i wish i pirated this.

That nonsense is what kept me from buying Battlefield 2 for like, 5 years or something. Until it arrived on Steam. Not sure what shape the DRM is in now, I haven't even launched it once since buying it

Nope, I have bf2142, but I no longer play it because of the drm. It's a serious pain in the ass to deal with. After buying bf2142 was when I swore I would never buy another game unless it came from steam (I think I could live with buying one from impulse as well).

I should ask here before buying stuff, well lesson learned, lets move on with our lives.

If i were dev at EAs, seeing how they keep people from playing my hands hardwork, i would write the crack myself, that lets people play it, especially as it is already sold in compilations, which means it reached the retirement stage.

Guess they have to much crunch and hate there own products. Or to many Lawyers mining the field.

im talkin on the impossibility of activating my nothern strike on EA-Link. The various searches you have to do, to find the well hidden site that changes your password, to arrive at point zero, were it tells you that your gamecode is not a correct activation key.

Imagine Steam filled with bureacracy processes, thats what i am talkin about. I woud love to play that game, to see my points add up, but obviously i bought a empty box with a demo inside + the empty promiss to have the full version, if EA got its mess eva cleaned up.

i searched there, and mainly it comes out that in EA-Boards, they promise to help you, but dont do it, and if you get loud, they ban you and by kicking your account (by the way) take your games away from you. And on the other boards the old members simply state: Sorr guy, you are fucked!
