Okay I know your trying to fix some things for the next release, but I have a few requests.
1.) Besides fixing the s3o format bugs, could we please have transparency? So we can make windows, leafy branches, trusses, ect...
2.) In the smd file for maps, the detailtex image covers the whole map. I'm asking if we could have it defined by the type map, and be a function of the terrain type.

No they can be coloured, but they don't show at a certain distance or in the minimap. I used grey and set the contrast very low on mine, but if you balance the colours carfully it should work ok.

Also genblood... its totaly possible... infact I would hazzard even I could add some of teh code in required (though actully prob not, theers always somthing I dont know about...) however i know defining the things is quite easy in the CVS, just a case of adding the reference to them i suspect.
I'm working on some rocks to go on my tree map (obviosly I cant add the big trees in as trees, that would be suicide...) but I'm sure if someone can make a few palm trees and any other type of tree thats thought needed they can be added with minimal hastle.
