What did u use?
By the way if anyone has a nice idea for a metal texture pls do tell or make a texture...
If not ima just use the ota tile(i really dont want to).

This is not gonna be a speed metal map.
The map IS a metal map but the metal extraction is gonna be lower than on metal heck.

there was a chap that made a smashing metal tileset not so long ago, that should make things easier for you.

It's promising. I like the idea

But I still emphasize my opinion that you should make the heightmap less detailed and complex. Simplify it a bit and concentrate on the texture. Make it more functional. Make the 90 degree walls texturable.

It has too much weird walls and corners. But maybe that is just what you want. I've always seen your taste a bit weird ;)

Well the small little stuff everywhere are for 2 reasons.
First of all,uniqueness,and second of all since a big part of the playing is gonna be simcity and placing all your stuff as safely and as effectively as possible thus i think its more interesting when you have all sorts of strange restrictions you need to learn to live with on the map.

I also like some randomness and weird features because they spawn all sorts of random tricks and strategies.

you might want to use The sheep map tileset, i asked from the maker earlier, and i think he was willing to let people use the textures... dunno, you better ask him again,
