lol yeh updating current units is cool all the better for when i wanna take in the beauty of some of those badass units. plus it does look better with nicer units in a big fight give it a bit more detail!

As for me, I'm just dying to get a hold on a stable version, high poly models or not.

Playing WD again brings back so many memories from my old TA days...
I was really into WD back in 2002 on the TA Designers forums... don't remember what nick I used then (think it was deluxe), but you might remember me as the guy who posted the finnish battle snail unit suggestion :)

Well, anyhoo, it's great that's it's still active, and I'll eagerly await whatever you cook up.

lol finnish battle snail, cruel but amazingly funny, i go finland alot (sweden too actually, well every scandenavian country bar iceland but i should be going there somtime soon!)

I'll gladly release it, I will take my time on getting all the bugs crushed...I just had some cropping up again with the Air to Air missiles, aparently they like to die before they hit their targets in some cases...

Oh yeah, do the planes have flares now that it's supported by the engine?

Subs are somewhat easy to model but Maestro, are you still planning 3 tiers of ships?

L1 build by commander
-Small Tow ships
-Rubber Boats (RHIBs and such)
-Amphibious Infantry (frogmen with bombs and harpoons, Russia could have underwater rifles) http://www.world.guns.ru/assault/as69-e.htm
-LCAC type hovercraft?

L2 build by Tow ship
-PT Boats
-Frigates
-Destroyers
-Subs
-Light Carrier
-Transport Ship (Ivan Rogov and Rotterdam)

L3
-Battlecruiser (Kirov)
-Super Carrier (when there is support for aircraft being able to take off from it and scramble.
-Future Ships?

This is just a rough list.

Oh, and if you need some betatesting of the new version, I'll gladly volunteer.

As for the Navy, how about a Visby stealth corvette?

i dunno how many level in ship too
I never plan such thing, just make general concept

Making sub model isnt THAT easy, now is you want to make a 945 sub you will spend weeks try to finding an in dock pic or underwater photo.... or line drawing. if u lucky u ll find one or two. Most line drawing is side only....

Hi Attack....
we lazy today.... not a bad thing
TA Spring supporting stuff is still on heavy development
Imagine if we already remodel all WD unit before last month, then S3O is out and we must remodel everything... :(
same thing goes to other issue, we dont have much time to waste....
I want to wait TA SPring is a bit mature in scale of development,
then you will see very fast pace in development :)

i'm dreading skinning of complex models such as tanks but on the otherhand excited for the possibilities.

Perhaps if have a good AI to play with I can judge what needs to be done and such.

If someone provided me with a decent build tree for WD that i could work off of I'd give you it in the next version (0.29 beta 1) but I know nothing about WD and I aint to keen on these sorts of units, I prefer more futuristic models, and I hate camouflage textures......
