The Australian Federal Government has announced today it will introduce an amendment to the Broadcasting Services Act, which by 2011 will require all internet service providers in the country to implement and activate filtering technology.

censoring child pornography is just one stepping stone in what hundreds of things they could actually end up blocking.

As soon as its implemented they can pick and choose what you see, i wouldn't be surprised if countries will block certain media sites to stop bad press about them.
