TA spring 1944 / Graphism Trouble [Resolved]

Post by Vurca »

Hi there, first, I would like to thank the developers, Spring is a real game, free & cool ! :P

I don't think that this a huge problem, but I've to report some trouble with graphism.

I'm currently using Ubuntu 9.10 Koala-Karmic.

Well, everything's fine when I launched the game, everything's working, the units & trees are there. I can shoot (yeah !). But it's all red : the whole map is. Except the floor, wich is white (and it's the map of bocage... Sure I've problem with the floor too! )

Thanks for reading & helping me.

Plus : I didn't a perfect bot, from now. And, I tried to install springlobby via the ubuntu software manager, but I didn't work at all. So I proceed with the old fashion way : sudo apt-get install spring-lobby.

Maybe, it is there the origin of the problem ? I didn't install everything ?

Thanks again.

Have you tried other maps? A corrupt map archive can result in an all red playing field

I just installed the package via my terminal.
Then, I don't know how to make it.
What graphic driver are you using?
I don't know. My Graphic device is an Intel GMA 4500M. I suppose that the driver is the default one.

But I can't tell that I'm sure.

Did you download the experimental dri driver there : http://homepage.hispeed.ch/rscheidegger ... index.html ?

You need to extract it somewhere and then do what's on the tutorial you found.
